This Privacy Policy is provided by RemodelingAdvisor.com LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as 'Above Board Pros' ('Company', 'we', 'us', or 'our').

Your Right to Opt Out of Sale: Categories A, B, and D are classified as "sold" or "shared" under applicable state privacy law. To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, submit a Privacy Rights Request using our online form or by postal mail to: Above Board Pros, c/o Registered Agent Solutions, Inc., 838 Walker Road Suite 21-2, Dover, DE 19904. We will honor opt-out requests within 15 business days.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- Fulfill requests for quotes and match you with Service Providers.
- Verify your identity and document your consent to be contacted.
- Perform internal analytics to understand how visitors use the Site and improve our services (only if you have opted in to analytics cookies).
4. COMMUNICATIONS AND CONTACT METHODS
4.1 Phone and Automated Dialing
When you submit a quote request, you provide prior express written consent for AboveBoardPros and its network of service providers and marketing partners to contact you at the phone number you provide, using automated telephone technology (including autodialed calls and prerecorded messages), even if your number is on a Do-Not-Call list. This consent is not required to receive services.
To revoke your consent at any time, submit a request through our Privacy Rights Request form or send written notice by postal mail to the address in Section 10. We will process revocations within 10 business days under the FCC's April 2025 rules.
4.2 SMS / Text Messages
AboveBoardPros does not initiate SMS marketing campaigns directly. Downstream service providers who receive your information may send you text messages. If you receive an unwanted text, reply STOP to that sender's message to opt out. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.
4.3 Email Communications
We may send you transactional emails (e.g., request confirmation, privacy request acknowledgements) and, where you have provided consent, commercial email about related services.
CAN-SPAM Compliance: All commercial emails we send include an unsubscribe link. Opt-out requests from commercial emails are honored within 10 business days. Our physical mailing address for CAN-SPAM purposes is:
Above Board Pros (RemodelingAdvisor.com LLC) c/o Registered Agent Solutions, Inc. 838 Walker Road Suite 21-2 Dover, DE 19904
5. ANALYTICS COOKIES AND CONSENT
We use Google Analytics 4 ("GA4"), operated by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use our Site. We do not set analytics cookies or transmit your information to GA4 until you affirmatively opt in.
When you first visit the Site, a consent banner is displayed. GA4 will not collect or transmit any data until you click "Accept Analytics." If you click "Decline," GA4 remains in a data-withheld state for your entire session and all future visits.
If you accept analytics, GA4 may collect:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- General browser and device type (e.g., Chrome on Windows)
- Approximate geographic region derived from IP address
- Referring URL (the page you came from)
What GA4 does not collect under our configuration:
- We permanently disable ad-related signals (
ad_storage,ad_user_data, andad_personalizationare set todeniedregardless of your analytics choice). GA4 is used solely for site improvement — not for ad targeting, retargeting, or cross-site profiling.
Your consent choice is stored locally in your browser's localStorage under the key abp_consent_v1. To withdraw consent at any time, clear your browser's site data for this domain or contact us at the address in Section 10.
GA4 data is processed by Google LLC under a Data Processing Agreement and is not sold to third parties by us.
6. FORM RECORDING AND MONITORING DISCLOSURE
When you actively submit a quote request form on this Site, your form interactions — including entries and timing — are recorded by TrustedForm, operated by ActiveProspect, Inc. This recording is initiated only when you engage with a quote form, not during passive browsing. It is used exclusively to document your identity and your prior express written consent to be contacted by service providers.
TrustedForm data is not used for advertising or shared beyond its consent-documentation purpose.
7. EXCLUSION ZONES AND GEOGRAPHIC RESTRICTIONS
AboveBoardPros does not currently serve residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Maryland, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, or Washington. Our systems are configured to block ingestion of leads and personal information from individuals residing in these states.
Because we do not knowingly collect, sell, or share the personal information of California residents, the consumer rights afforded under the CCPA/CPRA and the California Delete Act are not applicable to our current operations. Residents of the other excluded states are similarly outside our service area; if you believe your data was collected in error, contact us using the form at aboveboardpros.com/privacy/opt-out and we will delete it promptly.
As an additional technical safeguard, analytics data collection requires affirmative opt-in from all visitors regardless of state, and ad-related tracking signals are permanently disabled.
8. YOUR STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
Residents of certain states where we operate have additional rights under applicable law. To exercise any of the rights below, submit a Privacy Rights Request.
8.1 Rights by State
| Right | MN (MCDPA) | IA (ICDPA) | IN (INCDPA) | NE (NDPA) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Know / Access | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Correct | ✓ | — | ✓ | ✓ |
| Delete | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Data Portability | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Opt Out of Sale | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Opt Out of Targeted Advertising | ✓ | — | ✓ | ✓ |
| Opt Out of Profiling | ✓ | — | ✓ | ✓ |
Iowa note: Iowa's ICDPA does not provide rights to correct personal data, opt out of targeted advertising, or opt out of profiling. Iowa residents are limited to access, deletion, portability, and opt-out of sale.
Tennessee note: Tennessee's Information Protection Act (TIPA) applies to controllers that exceed annual revenue and processing volume thresholds. AboveBoardPros is monitoring its growth against these thresholds and will update this policy if TIPA becomes applicable.
Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, Kansas, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota: These states currently have no comprehensive consumer data privacy law. Residents of these states may still use our opt-out form to request deletion or opt-out of sale as a courtesy.
8.2 Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honor the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") browser signal. This section describes exactly what happens when your browser or a browser extension sends a GPC signal to our Site.
Analytics. If your browser sends a GPC signal, our analytics consent mechanism automatically detects it and treats analytics as declined — Google Analytics 4 will not be loaded or receive any data unless and until you affirmatively click "Accept Analytics" in the consent banner, which overrides the signal for analytics on that device going forward (until you clear your stored choice). This applies to all visitors who send a GPC signal, not only residents of a particular state.
Opt-out of sale/sharing. For residents of Minnesota and Nebraska, and as a courtesy to all other visitors, a GPC signal is treated as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information, as required by MCDPA and NDPA respectively. When we detect a GPC signal on a quote-request submission, we record the signal (gpc_detected) and, by default, mark that submission "do not sell" so it is excluded from routing to our network of contractors and marketing partners.
Later, specific consent can override a general GPC signal for that submission. If you submit a quote request through one of our own forms and affirmatively check the consent boxes on that form (confirming you are the property owner and agreeing to be contacted, sold, and shared with our Marketing Partners for that specific request), that specific, later-in-time consent overrides the general GPC opt-out signal for that submission only — your GPC signal continues to apply to analytics and to any future submission where you do not provide such specific consent. When an override occurs, we record it (gpc_overridden_by_consent, together with a timestamp and the version of the consent text you agreed to) so the override is auditable. <!-- COUNSEL SIGN-OFF PENDING: this override sentence describes the "later, specific, affirmative consent overrides a general browser signal" rule per decisions register #10; confirm the exact framing before this becomes the operative policy text. -->
GPC has no effect on TCPA phone/text/email consent, which is governed separately by Section 4.
9. HOW WE HANDLE PRIVACY REQUESTS
We respond to all verified privacy requests within 45 calendar days of receipt, as permitted by applicable state law. If we require an extension (up to an additional 45 days), we will notify you before the initial deadline and explain the reason.

Appeals: If we deny your request, we will explain why in writing. You may appeal a denial within 30 days by emailing privacy@aboveboardpros.com with the subject line "Privacy Request Appeal – [your reference ID]." We will respond to appeals within 45 days.
